Commissioned artwork for Singapore's renowned Raffles Hotel Mooncake Boxes for 2024's Mid-Autumn Festival.
The mooncake boxes are an integral part of the Hotel's yearly marketing campaign, and this year, the design centred on flowers that bloom by moonlight, in reference to the significance of the moon in the lunar new year. Flowers were also chosen for being particularly auspicious, and the moon moth was included - a talisman. A repeating pattern was created, with linking botanical elements and a variety of coloured backgrounds.
The design involved multiple box typologies, and for the premium offering, included mooncake plates printed with the design, and a box upholstered in silk fabric.
